Who is Erno Laszlo?
Erno Laszlo learnt from the very best, whilst studying skin pathology and disease at the Royal Hungarian Elisabeth University of Medical Sciences in Budapest, along side ‘the father of modern dermatology’ Professor Max Joseph.
Who loves Erno Laszlo?
From very early on in his career, Erno began building a world class clientèle of Hollywood actresses that all longed for his dermatology expertise, this included Grace Kelly, Katharine Hepburn and Ava Gardner to name just a few. The Duchess of Windsor called Erno’s institute “The House of Silence” as there were so many secrets hidden within its walls from this Erno quickly developed an endless list of European royalty and New York socialites desperately seeking treatment at the institute and in 1952 made his knowledge available to the wider audience by launching his collection at Saks Fifth Avenue New York. Despite this, Erno made his products available only to those with a membership, limiting the membership to 15,000 members which quickly reached its limit and had to be strictly frozen at 25,000.
