- Perfecting Concealer can be used as a concealer on the skin and under the eyes. It can be also used as a full coverage foundation using a brush.
- When using the product as a concealer, apply it after foundation and before powder.
- When you are using perfecting concealer as foundation, apply Hydrating Primer or Illuminating Tinted Moisturiser first, this will allow the concealer to smooth over any surface and look extremely perfected.
- Finding the perfect shade of under eye concealer can be tricky. The correct shade is the one that best matches the skin. If it looks yellow it is too dark; if it looks gray it is too light.
- To conceal blemishes, use the tip of a brush in a stippling motion. It will correct the discoloration and help the skin to appear smoother.
- A cross hatching motion with a brush to smooth out the skin and diminish the appearance of pores.
- For more coverage, mix Perfecting Concealer with your foundation.
- Fingers work well when applying perfecting concealer. When using this technique, press the product into the skin in areas where needed for more coverage.

Great Concealer
I have been looking for something better quality than the average high street concealer and had read some good reviews about this concealer in particular so thought this would be a good choice. I have tried the usual store brands before, and although they are OK when first applied, I find they tend to wear off quickly due to a weak consistancy. The Stila Perfecting Concealer does not wear off and has a thick and lasting but not gloopy or heavy consistancy which does not congeal or flake at all. Although a little pricier than the brands you can get in a pharmacy chain or supermarket, it is well worth the extra money, and due to the fact that it only requires small amounts to cover a good size area, pound for pound it is actually quite good value for money.
