I got Nailtiques a couple of years ago after I stopped wearing acrylics and my nails were very thin and bendy. I noticed how strong they became over a period of a few weeks and was sold. However I stopped when I read that they can get too hard and then break because of lack of flexibility. I recently returned to Formula 2 Plus after a few months spent with just acrylic overlay (not tips) and found my nails need strengthening again. When you put the second coat on - more so than the first, oddly - it can cause nail beds to ache, because I guess the nails are thinner than they should be. This isn't too painful though and I think it must mean it's working, bonding proteins in the nail. I have tried Nail Envy by OPI and Sally Hansen hardeners but nothing works as well as Nailtiques I find.
