It’s really no secret that fragranced candles are my weakness…I would rather have a candle than a bottle of fragrance any day of the week. Mostly, it’s because I love to scent the whole house – or at least an entire room and once I’ve lit a candle, it’s an olefactory signal to me to sit down and relax! My favourite ever candle is Dior Lily of The Valley – that (fortuitously as it turns out as they are frighteningly expensive!) can only be bought in the Paris flagship store and was a gift to me from my husband. I’ve only ever had two and they are burned a nano-second at a time to make them last! But, that’s a special candle, and I’ve got plenty more that I adore as well. At the moment, with a little nip in the air, I’m loving JussLondon Hiver Blanc (white winter) that gives out a gentle citrus swirls of scent using orange and mandarin, with hints of cinnamon and clove to spice things up a little. It feels like the perfect aroma to accompany the nights drawing in and a roaring fire.
