According to recent research by Spontex Cleaning Products, 59% of men pretend not to have heard when they are asked to do some household chores. More than 7 in 10 use flattery to get out of doing housework by complimenting their ladies on how much more superior their ability is for the job in hand. Funnier still is that 47% of men say they do the washing without being nagged, but 69% of their partners say they are lying! We won’t damn half the human race by saying ‘typical’, but, it all sounds rather familiar. An excellent excuse, if ever we heard one, to make sure you treat yourself to some pampering goodies because you certainly do deserve them – it’s offical!
