Jojoba
Extracted from the Jojoba plant, Jojoba oil is what is known as a carrier oil. Carrier oils work in conjunction with other oils to boost the benefits. Jojoba oil is naturally moisturising, noncomedogenic and rich in vitamins A, D and E, making this ingredient ideal for all skin types.
As the texture of Jojoba oil is similar to sebum, applying this topically cheats the skin to believe it has already produced enough oil naturally. In addition to regulating oil production, this hydrating ingredient works to repair and heal damaged skin tissue.
