Without a doubt, the best hair appliance ever!
5I absolutely love this hair straightener. My hair is quite straight naturally anyway, but I have never failed to notice how much better it looks after being straightened at the hairdressers. Well this one is 100 times better than anything my hairdresser has ever used! It makes my hair beautifully shiny, poker straight and in amazing condition! I never thought a straightener would make my hair feel in better condition but this one actually does! Well done L’Oréal - you have created my new favourite appliance!

Amazing!
5I have been trying to get the condition of my hair back to good after years of highlighting and straightening. These irons have made a big difference. I was a little skeptic but am really please. My hair doesn’t seem as fried and they are very easy to use. The comb edge gives a sleek finish. Lighter than I thought too. Would recommend.

Possible GHD convert
4I’ve had the styler for a week so more time is needed to see whether it replaces my GHD’s but so far so good. It’s easy to use and I may need to use higher heat settings as I have slightly frizzy medium hair and the low heat curled well but the curls didn’t last as long as my GHD’s

Fantastic results
5Having always only used GHD’s or other straighteners I was interested to see if Steampods would be any better and I have to say I was really quite impressed. Love that it has and integrated water chamber and long power cord simple to use and quick I only had to go over each area once rather than a few times that I normally do with GHD’s. My hair looks healthier and feels less dry with these. It is lovely to hold and not heavy and looks sleek.

Wowzers! Love Love Love!
5So I brought the very first steampod a good 5/6 years ago now and did always like but it was bulky, struggled with the wire everywhere due to the pod and you couldn't curl as the wire just wound up... But then came along the version 3... Wow!!! First of all, it is so sleek with no separate pod, it's all done on the straighter itself and the cord doesn't wind up when curling. Second of all, it's just so gentle, kind and considerate to your hair! I have thick curly unruly hair that is regularly bleached but these cute my straightening time in half and left me with beautiful sleek shiny soft hair. I'm so impressed by these so thank you so much loreal!

GHD has competition......
5In the past, I only used my hair straighteners on special occasions. Having damaged hair (bleached and coloured), I was conscious of any additional damage I was causing when styling, however when I got the chance to try the L’Oreal Steampod 3, I jumped at it. I’ve never used “steam” on my hair before. This Steampod needs demineralised water (which I got online), do not use tap water. I used Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique on my hair then blasted it with hairdryer prior to using the Steampod. TOP TIP: these are not like normal straighteners, do not use them too near to your head as the steam will burn! I used a wide toothed comb to lift up my hair while using the Steampod. The hot plates and steam felt quite smoothing when using this on my hair and did the job first time without the need to go over my hair again and again. I was impressed on how quick and easy it was to use the Steampod and how great the overall results were. This will definitely be part of my morning routine. Thank you for letting me review this, it was a pleasure.

Best straighteners ever!
5Well, all I can say is amazing!!! I used the nutritive nectar cream on my damp hair, left to dry naturally and then started using the Steam Pod. I started at 8.08am and finished at 8.23am. Considering I’ve never used one before, this is no time at all. I did make sure I’d comb it through before I started but these little beauties comb whilst straightening! The built in steamer made my hair feel silky and smoother than my GHD’s! There’s a great shine to my hair too!!! I simply love these and putting other straighteners on eBay! Amazing for my mixed black hair which is normally curly!!! Love!!!

Makes my Hair Look so Healthy
5My reaction when I first used the steampod was WOW, my hair looked great. I found that this hair appliance is amazing and perfect for my hair and is a very good investment. I have naturally thick curly hair which very often ends up frizzy and dry and looks messy and dishevelled and when I am out socialising, I always want to look my best and it is very important for me that my hair especially looks great. I like to straightened my hair, but I often find that it is too much effort and hustle, as my hair is very thick and long and it takes a long time to style and I don’t always get the results I want, but with the steampod I was able to straighten my hair safely without feeling that I have damaged it. It was very easy to use and with half the time, it was so convenient and because it uses steam my hair looked healthier, shinier and felt very soft. It is so great that I now feel confident and look forward to straightening and styling my hair, because I know that the end result is going to look fantastic.

Best straightening irons ever!
5This steam pod is amazing! Best straightening irons I have ever used. I only had to go down each section of hair once to achieve smooth, straight hair. My previous irons, I had to go down each section 3-4 times and still didn't achieve as smooth results as I do with these.Once I'd finished, my hair looked so smooth, straight and shiny, and I had no frizzy ends. It was so much quicker straightening my hair using these compared to my old ones. The only tricky bit I found was, the irons have arrows on them pointing down, and you have to make sure you're holding them the right way round, and sometimes I couldn't work out which way to hold them, especially doing the back of my hair, but I guess I'll get used to that with practice. Also, you have to fill the steam pod with water, and you can't use tap water as it can cause scale in them and stop them functioning as well. You need to use demineralised water.

It does what it is designed for
3This is the first steam pod I have ever used so cannot compare with other brands or versions. However it can undoubtedly straightens and styles hair with one run and leaves the hair soft and frizz free unlike blow dryers and particularly when used with Kerastase Nutritive Nectar Thermique. If you have dry hair like me then run it once per hair strand and use 180 degrees. Otherwise it will dry your hair and will appear damaged. Worse you may also notice hair fall. It is easy to use, heats up to the desired temp within a minute and rather unexpectedly not as heavy as it may appear.
