Omegas, or essential fatty acids, are the key to youthful skin. Whilst the body is unable to produce Omegas biologically, intake of the acid must come through diet.
What is it used for?
Technically, Omegas are known as long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids. Like many ingredients, there is many different types of Omegas. Omega 3, 6 and 7 all help to nourish the skin, however they each have individual benefits.
What are the advantages of using it?
Omega 7 is best for helping renew and restore suppleness; Omega 6 provides moisture; Omega 3 reduces redness whilst Omega 9 works to intensely nourish and repair. All packed with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, long term use of Omegas can help to penetrate the skin’s barrier and encourage other skin products to penetrate more deeply.
