With a great deal of controversy – not least from health inspectors and animal welfare campaigners – a salon in Sheffield brings us the ancient art of foot-softening-by-fish. Little kippers (actually Garra Rufa fish) nibble away at your hard skin to apparantly leave toes and heels baby soft. It is, in fact, a ritual that is not uncommon in other countries, such as Japan, but are we ready to dip our feet in a vat of fish in the name of beauty? Would you, could you – or have you?
