The news that their Louboutin shoes might be poor imitations of the real thing has got the nation’s fashionistas lying on chaises longues being fanned with copies of Vogue. Apparantly, the UK is awash with websites selling clever imitations of Jimmy Choos, Manolos and Louboutins at a fraction of the price of the real thing. The international scam, according to The Daily Mail, is worth millions, as factories in China churn out imitation designer footwear at a rate of knots. We say, bag a pair of Fitflops for a mere snip in comparison to both the imitations and the real thing, and never twist your ankle again or suffer the indignity of shoes with a questionable heritage.
