I absolutely love this Dreamy palette from Shu Uemura as part of their autumn winter look. Using warm tones, it’s the perfect segue for sun-kissed summer skin to seamlessly blend into fall looks. Four feminine eye shades, including the most delicious gold (which I’d use for instantly adding an evening look to daytime make up by lining on the upper and lower lash lines), give a flexible smoky eye that can be upscaled or toned down as much as you like. My real passion though is the cream cheek blush in a stunning red – it is flattering on any skin tone and gives cheeks an immediately healthy flush. It doesn’t actually translate to a bright red on the cheeks…by blending with your fingers you can get the intensity you need; I’d advise against a full red – a bit too ‘boozy’ looking – but you could dab it over your lips (press it into the lip using a cotton bud to really imprint the colour) for a naturally pretty lip tint look. It’s the perfect shade for that, too. Two cream liners finish off the palette beautifully making it a versatile buy that isn’t going out of style any time soon.
