This season really is all about nails…glamorous, shimmering tips are super-stylish. But, winter doesn’t love nails – very often you’ll find that your nail growth is slower in winter and the condition isn’t as good. It’s important to replenish any moisture regularly with a good nail oil and when you are applying your hand cream, work it all around your nails too. Water damage is one of the worst offenders for flaky nails – water gets embedded between the nail plates and that is what causes peeling and flaking. To avoid this, ensure that you wear rubber gloves or if you really can’t bear to do that, keep a protective top coat on your talons at all times. I love these minis from the OPI Burlesque Collection in little pots of perfect rich winter shades. Little Teasers are a gorgeous stocking filler, too.
