I’m always slightly baffled by highlighters and never quite sure exactly where they should go; up til now I have always thought of them more as a make up artist tool than a workaday item. But, my head has been turned by Becca’s Bird of Paradise Multi-Purpose Gloss, where the smallest dab on the apples of the cheeks over blusher gives the kind of radiant touch normally only ever seen in magazines. You need the tiniest possible amount (and this could be where I’ve gone wrong in the past; glowing like an alien is not a good glow); a subtle smear however, worked in well with the fingers does give a dewy touch to the complexion. I’ve tried it under the brow line, over cheeks and experimentally on lips – with pleasing results.
